Batch of Brownies

The only brownie recipe that you piglets will ever need to bake the most delicious and not nutritious brownies ever!


Ingredients:

200g dark chocolate or 100g dark chocolate/100g milk chocolate (depending on how sweet your tooth is)

180g butter

275g caster sugar

130g plain flour

3 eggs


Bake in a 20x20cm square tin. Makes 16 portions.


Method:

Preheat the oven to 180ºC.

Heat 250ml of water in a saucepan on the hob. Put the chocolate and butter in a heatproof bowl. Place this bowl over the simmering water and melt until smooth.

Remove the melted chocolate and butter from heat and stir in the sugar.

Once the sugar is well incorporated, stir in the flour.

Briskly stir in the eggs and mix everything together so that the mixture becomes thick and smooth.

Spoon the mixture into the baking tray and bake in the oven for 32-34 minutes.

Leave to cool before dusting with icing sugar (optional).
